A template written once and offered wherever a message is typed. A quick reply you grab mid-conversation. A tag that says what somebody is. A segment that is a rule, not a list, so it stays current on its own. Four screens, one habit: decide once, reuse everywhere.
A contact is in this segment when all of these are true
Longer messages you send often. A template is for one channel, and an email one can carry a subject.
Agents also keep 6 private templates. Their contents are private to them.
The messages you send often, kept in one place and reused in flows, in campaigns and in the inbox. They take merge values, so one template greets everybody by their own name.
Short canned answers you grab mid-conversation in the inbox, kept to hand rather than retyped. Give each a name you will recognise in a hurry, not a description of the wording.
Short canned answers. Leave the channel blank and it works for both.

Everyone at this brokerage can apply these. Only an admin can rename or delete them.
Labels you put on contacts. A tag is the simplest way to record what somebody is, and both segments and flows read them: a segment can select on a tag, and a flow can add or remove one as a step.
Somebody who becomes a match tomorrow is in the segment tomorrow, with nothing to re-run. A segment is the audience for Mass SMS and email campaigns, and a step inside flows can add people to one. Name it after who is in it, because you will pick it from a list months later.
Press Count matching contacts before you save. A new segment shows Not counted yet rather than a misleading zero, and a campaign shows the count again before it freezes the audience.
Only a segment that asserts SMS marketing consent can be the audience for a Mass SMS. A segment without that rule is marked in the picker and a campaign cannot be created from it.
A segment keeps changing and a campaign must not. Whoever is in the segment at send time is captured, so the number you approved is the number you are billed for. People added afterwards are not included.
Templates, Quick Replies, Tags and Segments come with the Automated AI Lead Engine, the add-on that switches on the texting and email side of Marketing Studio. Agents keep their own private templates, replies and tags in the agent portal; admins keep the brokerage's.
Added to Growth or Dominance AI. Switched on or off at any time, billed pro rata alongside your plan.
Email campaigns and email templates, which use the same segments and the same Insert picker, come with Dominance AI.
A template is a longer message for one channel, with an optional subject for email, and it is offered in flows, campaigns and the inbox. A quick reply is a short canned answer you pick while typing in the inbox, and it can work on any channel. Both take merge values and both are inserted as editable text.
No. The admin sees a count, for example "Agents also keep 6 private templates", never the contents. Brokerage-tier items are visible to everyone; private ones belong to the agent who made them.
It renders blank. A contact with no first name gets a greeting with a gap in it, so write wording that survives a missing value, and send yourself a test before using a template on an audience.
Yes. A segment is a saved rule, so anyone who matches tomorrow is in it tomorrow. Press Count matching contacts to see the number right now; a new segment shows Not counted yet until you do.
Only a segment whose rules assert SMS marketing consent can be the audience for a Mass SMS. Other segments are marked in the picker and a campaign cannot be created from them. Every recipient is checked again before their message is sent.
Any segment selecting on it is left pointing at a deleted tag, and any flow triggered by it stops being triggered. The confirmation tells you how many contacts lose the label. Check your segments and flows first, and recount after removing tags.
Add the Lead Engine to a Growth or Dominance AI site and your first template, quick reply, tag and segment are ready to use in flows, the inbox and campaigns the same afternoon.
