A version number sits beside it and the checkbox names that version. If the wording changes while the page is open, the upload is refused until you read it again.

An upload is marked ready only when every passage has its embedding. Nobody is told their material is live while it still answers nothing.

The model is given your passages and nothing else, and it is instructed to stop rather than fill a gap. Those instructions are ours to maintain and are not something a brokerage has to write or tune.
A question that your material covers gets an answer from it. A question it does not cover gets an honest "I don't have that information" and a way to reach a person. There is no third option where the assistant guesses.
A document is split into short passages before it is embedded, because a 400-character passage matches a question better than a 2,000-character one. Each passage keeps a title drawn from its own first line.

No. It answers only from your material and the curated help articles that come with the platform. When a question is not covered it says it does not have that information and offers to connect the visitor with a team member. Outside knowledge is excluded by design, whichever key is answering.

The upload itself, plus an acknowledgement: your name and email, the disclaimer version you accepted, the time, and keyed fingerprints of the connection. The record is append-only and is the acceptance evidence described in Section 13 of the Terms.
Yes. Removing an upload removes every passage it created, and the assistant stops using it from that moment. Removal does not recall answers already delivered to visitors.
